What a surprise - long range weather forecast suggests 55% chance of rain - but it will be warm. Time to dig out those wellies.

Ticket resale

For all those still hoping to get tickets - the official site has confirmed that there is to be a resale at 9am this Sunday but tickets can only be bought on the phone not online! The site says:

"On Sunday April 22nd at 9.00am there will be a sale of tickets which have been returned, or where payments have been declined. Michael Eavis has decided that these tickets will be sold through the telephone ticket sales line only - 0870 165 2007 - (International Sales +44 115 993 4183 ), and not online. These are the only telephone numbers that can be used to buy Glastonbury tickets on April 22nd. You will not be able to purchase Glastonbury tickets on any other See Tickets numbers".

Hope festival

To help ease the wait for Glastonbury we also have the Hope Weekender in East Sussex at beginning of June to look forward to.
The big draw at Hope will be a reunion gig for the superlative Swag. Also there will be the SE London favs the Cosmic Sausages. Not to forget the legendary Steve Bolton.
It's also rumoured that Squeeze's Glenn Tilbrook will be making an appearance at Hope.

Before going any further on this blog I must say a big thanks to Gemma and all those in Manchester who helped with getting thro to the tkt line and also to Lela who kept the whole flight to Spain waiting while she called me to make sure I got the tkts and got big cheers from whole flight when she got the messages when she landed saying we all had tickets.

Glastonbury webcam

If you can't wait until June to see the Glastonbury site you can set the Glastonbury webcam as your desktop. Something to cheer you up at work. A kind person on the official site's message board has posted instructions:

Right Click on your destop and select properties or goto control panel and open display properties.

Next click the "Desktop" tab

Click on "Customize Desktop"

Click on the "Web" tab

Click on "New"

Enter the web address http://www.bbc.co.uk/glastonbury/images/gl...ebcam/view2.jpg

Click "OK" and click "OK" for every box in the windows you have open.

There will now be a box on your desktop that you can re-size to fit the site you are viewing.

Once you have re-sized, it is best to go back to the customize desktop bit and "Lock Desktop Items", that way it is fixed on your desktop in place.

Glasto 07 here we come

Yes! have survived the ticketing lottery and back to Glastonbury for the first time for 2 years. Now all there is to do is worry about finding a top camping spot, and checking the weather forecast compulsively. Is it just a coincidence that the Met Office released their long-range summer forecast just after the first ticket sale that the obsessive checking of forecasts could begin.
